The Los Angeles Rams will look to become the second consecutive team to win a Super Bowl title on their home field when they take on the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday, Feb. 13, at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California.
The Rams advanced to their second Super Bowl in four years with a 20-17 win over the San Francisco 49ers in the NFC championship game. After toiling for 12 years with the Detroit Lions, quarterback Matthew Stafford joined the Rams in an offseason trade and combined with record-setting wide receiver Cooper Kupp to put the Rams one win away from their first Super Bowl title since the 1999 season.
The Bengals punched their ticket by rallying on the road from an 18-point deficit to defeat the Kansas City Chiefs 27-24 in overtime in the AFC championship game. The Bengals’ unexpected success has been fueled by their selection of quarterback Joe Burrow with the No. 1 overall draft pick, one that came with finishing a league-worst 2-14 just two seasons ago.
